Wigmore, a former Tory smoothie turned purple rosette-wearing Kipper, infiltrated the New Communist Party of Britain, becoming a member in order to secure the party’s backing for Grassroots Out. Alas somehow the alliance of Reds, purples and George Galloway was not enough to beat Vote Leave to the designation.
